1964 Cadillac In The Rocky Mountains - April 22, 2009
I had some free time during the middle of
the day and went for a stroll in the '64 Cadillac. There she is pulled over
on the side of Chaffee County Road 162 in Nathrop,
with a grand view of Mt. Princeton
(left) and Mt. Yale (right) behind.
Such a pretty and mountainous area I live in!
I paid a brief visit to the Mt. Princeton Hot Springs.
As I returned to my car, I gazed at it and wondered: Do I really want to sell her?
(As of today, the sad truth is "Yes." I must sell her for financial reasons.)
The windshield is cracked as you can see. Ahhhh no matter ...
it was still a nice view as I drove north on Chaffee County Road 321 toward Buena Vista.
The large snowy peaks out there are known as the Buffalo Peaks.
I liked this shot toward the back right.
One photo of the speedometer area as I drove. And yes, I was safe! :)
