First Drive With The Cadillac
I bought this vehicle on June 13 of this year and drove it three miles from the seller's house to mine. Since then, the Cadillac has sat on my driveway. Well, today I decided to go for a drive, and I will admit, it was partly motivated by work-related procrastination. I also attended a classic car show yesterday and was inspired that maybe, just maybe, if I get some work done on it, I will have this car in next year's show. I drove to a scenic junction in the mountains with Mt. Yale in the background. Standing at the summit, the altitude is 14,198 feet above sea level! I hiked this mountain twice in the past two years: 2006 Hike and 2007 Hike. -Steve (July 8, 2008) |
